Whether this is your first time here or whether you are a frequent
visitor, here is some helpful information regarding our parties,
classes and events held here.
When you enter one
of our rooms, once loaded, type in a nickname rather than the
"guest" that shows up automatically. You do not
need a password unless you are a moderator and have your nickname
registered. Once you've entered, you have entered the Lobby,
click the Rooms tab just above the chat and double click on the
room you wish to attend.
During parties and
events there are several options that you can use while chatting:
- View
pages in the room by clicking on the
appropriate links in the Navigation Boxes below the
actual chat. All pages show up on your right
hand side other than the Order Form, which opens in
a new window.
- Play
Sounds by selecting the small button that
has a "sound" image, just to the bottom of
the chat box (left). Simply click on the sound
you wish you play and click enter. Everyone in
the room will hear the sound effect.
Sounds can be turned off on your computer by typing
this into the chat: /sounds off
- Emoticons
can be displayed by selecting the small button that
has "a face", just to the right of the
sounds button. Simply click on the emotion that you want to show in the room and click enter.
- Information
Request Forms can be filled out at anytime
to either request additional information from the
room's rep or to enter any drawings that the room
may be holding.
- Secure
Order Forms are located in many of our
rooms. All orders are transmitted via our
secure server to that rep's email box. Order
forms will open in a new window so that you can
continue to fill out your order form while shopping.
Simply minimize or maximize the Order Form window
for your convenience.
- Our
rooms also give you the option to person-to-person
chat with others in the room. Simply
click on the button located at the top of the chat.
As with giving you the option to be in more than one
room at a time - you can person-to-person chat with
others and all of the tabs will show up along the
top of the chat box for your convenience to click
back and forth.
- You
also have the option to change your Chat
Options. This is your first button at
the top of the chat box. Click on that button
each time you enter the rooms and select your
options. The best ones are "sound on
join" and "sound on message".
You will hear a sound effect when someone enters the
room or when someone types a new message. It's
great for those walking away from the computer or
working on other things.
